(NLĐO) - The content of the work "The Revolutionary Path" has enduring value in the Vietnamese revolutionary cause throughout all ages.

The Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy, organized a scientific seminar on "The Enduring Value of the work 'The Revolutionary Path' in the Implementation of Directive No. 5 of the Politburo in the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee" on August 30th.

At the seminar, Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Thi Gam, former Head of the Department of Party Building - Ho Chi Minh Thought, Political Academy Region II, stated that "The Revolutionary Path" is a prime example of President Ho Chi Minh's creative application of Marxism-Leninism to a semi-feudal colonial country. The issues raised by him in the work are fundamental to the Vietnamese Revolution.

He was the one who defined the revolutionary path, providing clear, concise, accurate, and appropriate answers to the questions posed to the Vietnamese Revolution regarding achieving independence, freedom, national development, and bringing prosperity and happiness to the people.

The work met the objective requirements of the country, spread among workers, peasants, and other strata of the population, equipped them with theory, created a transformation in thought and action, developed mass organizations, and formed three communist organizations leading to the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

Discussing the work "The Revolutionary Path" in relation to Party building and the training and development of cadres and civil servants in the current context, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Khien, Principal of the People's Police College II, said that during his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh was always deeply aware of the role of cadres and Party members. He placed the understanding of the people, including cadres and Party members, at the strategic level of the nation when he said: "An ignorant nation is a weak nation," and "Cadres making policy mistakes is due to insufficient training of cadres throughout the country."

Therefore, he always attached special importance to the training and education of cadres, considering it a crucial task of the Party, the revolution, and the nation. He often taught cadres and Party members to care for the people's lives, do what benefits the people, and avoid what harms the people.

In her concluding remarks at the workshop, Ms. Than Thi Thu, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said that after two months of implementing the plan and inviting submissions, the organizing committee had received 120 papers.

The seminar focused on three main issues: the enduring value of the work "The Revolutionary Path" in the Vietnamese revolutionary cause throughout all ages; the value of "The Revolutionary Path" to Party building, cadre training and development, and guiding cadres and Party members in self-improvement in the current situation, contributing to preventing ideological and political degradation, moral decay, and manifestations of self-evolution and self-transformation within the Party; and the significant contribution of the content of "The Revolutionary Path" to the successful implementation of the Party's resolutions…

"All levels of government are focusing on reforming administrative procedures, creating favorable conditions for businesses and the people. Improving and amending regulations on administrative procedures that are not in line with development requirements. This is our effort to follow the moral example of Uncle Ho to become good citizens, good officials and Party members, contributing to the development of the city, and building and developing the country," emphasized Ms. Than Thi Thu.
