The HBSO's ballet *Cinderella* bears the mark of Norwegian choreographer Johanne Jakhelln Constant, who previously achieved success with * The Nutcracker *. This is one of the most beloved ballets in Ho Chi Minh City in recent years, using subtle dance language and exploring the characters' inner feelings through body language and stage interaction. This re-staging is choreographed by Nguyen Phuc Hung, with lighting designed by Nguyen Phuc Hai, and features ballet artists La Man Nhi, Le Tuan Anh, Dang Minh Hien, Meritorious Artist Ho Phi Diep, Meritorious Artist Dam Duc Nhuan, Chika Tatsumi, Thach Hieu Lang, and others.

The ballet *Cinderella* revolves around Cinderella, who lives with a cruel stepmother and wicked stepsisters, forced to work tirelessly and treated terribly. However, the "wheel of fate" turns when she enters a magical world – Cinderella is helped by fairies to attend a grand ball, where true love awaits her.
