Eight teams compete in the final round of the 2023 National Seven-A-Side Football Tournament

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the VPL-S4 Organizing Committee Pham Ngoc Tuan said: "After three months of competing in the regional qualifying rounds, the tournament has reached the final round. This year's season has seen progress in terms of expertise, expanding the time and space for competition.

Seven-a-side football, with its 10-year journey of building and developing, has achieved certain achievements, received recognition at home and abroad, and the approval of international friends. Accordingly, the eight teams in the final round are excellent representatives, promising a great season."

Taking place from June 2023, VPL-S4 went through three regions to find the strongest teams. In the Northern region, the champion was Mobi Club. Meanwhile, in the Southern region, An Bien FC was convincingly crowned. Meanwhile, Hieu Hoa - Quahaco excellently won the title in the Central - Central Highlands region.

Draw lots, divide the final round of the tournament

In addition, other representatives participating in the final round are Dai Tu and Tung Anh clubs (North), Betong 26 Gia Lai (Central Highlands) and Dat Tin and Bay Nui (South).

The final round of the Championship Cup will take place at the Hoang Mai District Culture and Sports Center (Hanoi) for three days, from August 24 to 27, 2023, promising to bring exciting and engaging matches from the 8 best teams. The matches will be broadcast on channels and transmission platforms of Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVcab) to further promote the playground to audiences nationwide as well as gradually raise the level and spread the influence of seven-a-side football.

The VPL - S3 and S4 seasons have created very positive effects, not only attracting the attention of many 7-a-side football clubs from professional to amateur, but also creating great appeal in the football-loving community nationwide.
