Nghe An Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction, Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial State Treasury and related units to monitor, inspect and supervise agencies, units and localities in implementing and promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee during the implementation process to ensure effectiveness.

Regarding this content, recently, Do Luong District Party Committee has temporarily suspended a project worth more than 70 billion VND, including renovation and upgrading works for the office building and related items. Next, the project of the new administrative center of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and mass organizations of Con Cuong District with a total investment of 110 billion VND has also been officially suspended.

This is one of the first moves to implement the policy of saving budget and streamlining the administrative apparatus in the province.
