On May 21, Mr. Dinh Hoang Linh, Consul General of Vietnam in Khon Kaen, Thailand, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Piya Pijnam, Governor of Buriram Province.
At the reception, Governor Piya Pijnam congratulated Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh on receiving the Thai Government 's consular approval and expressed his belief that the new Consul General will promote the role of the Vietnamese Consulate General in 20 northeastern provinces of Thailand, contributing to strengthening the development of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries in general, and between Buriram province and localities of Vietnam in particular.

Despite heavy rain at Chang Arena, more than 500 overseas Vietnamese from the northeastern provinces of Thailand came to enthusiastically cheer for the Hanoi Police Club team.
