Attending on behalf of the leadership of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Khanh, and representatives from several relevant departments, agencies, and units.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Nguyen Van Tho, said that in recent times, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has always paid attention to resolving many difficulties and obstacles in the state management of natural resources and environment in the province in general and land management in particular. As a result, the management of natural resources and environment in the province has basically met the requirements set forth, having a positive impact on attracting investment and promoting socio-economic development. However, some difficulties and obstacles still need to be addressed in the process of land management.
After listening to the recommendations from representatives of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and relevant departments and agencies regarding state management of land, representatives from several departments, bureaus, and the Inspectorate of the Ministry expressed their opinions, shared their views, and proposed solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the province's land sector.

Concluding the meeting, on behalf of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment's leadership, Deputy Minister Le Minh Ngan thanked the leaders of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee for their cooperation in the state management of natural resources and environment in general and land in particular.
Deputy Minister Le Minh Ngan stated that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment consistently maintains the view of building transparent and clear mechanisms and laws, especially strengthening decentralization and delegation of power.
The Deputy Minister stated that, in order to strengthen decentralization and delegation of authority, coordination from localities is also essential. Therefore, the Ministry will continue to support and work with localities to resolve obstacles related to state management of natural resources and the environment, including land management, while ensuring compliance with the law and helping localities develop socio -economic aspects.
