Fresh pine imported as cheap commodity

Late November and early December are always the busiest times for the pre-Christmas decoration market. According to Health and Life, this is also the peak time for consumers to order fresh pine trees. This year, in addition to high-end fresh pine trees imported from Denmark, the Netherlands, etc., the market also has pine trees imported from Russia and China with competitive prices.

Imported fresh pine trees cost from several hundred thousand to tens of millions of dong and are sought after by many customers this Christmas.

From being expensive, fresh pine trees have now become cheap commodities sold everywhere in the market. Ms. Thuy Van (Tay Ho district) said that she just ordered a 1.2m high imported Christmas tree for 400,000 VND, with a shipping fee of 70,000 VND. According to her, this price is only equal to the cost of buying fresh pine branches for Christmas last year.
