
Attending the Conference were leaders of the Group's Party Committee, Board of Members, Executive Board, Vietnam Coal and Mineral Workers' Union, along with more than 700 outstanding worker delegates representing the entire Group's workforce.
In 2023, the main targets of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Group (TKV) were all met and exceeded the plan, with higher growth compared to 2022. Specifically, the Group produced over 37 million tons of raw coal, consumed nearly 48 million tons, and achieved total revenue of over 170,000 billion VND, reaching 101.2% of the plan, contributing nearly 30,000 billion VND to the state budget. Efforts to improve the living conditions and working environment for employees were prioritized by all units through practical and effective solutions. During the year, the average salary across the Group reached 16.8 million VND/person/month, an increase of 11.9% compared to the plan. Of this, the average salary for miners reached 24 million VND/person/month, with over 9,000 miners earning over 300 million VND/year.

In 2024, with the common goal of "Safety - Unity - Development - Efficiency," the collective workforce of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group will continue to uphold the tradition of "Discipline and Unity," determined to overcome difficulties, adapt flexibly, stabilize production and business, and strive to comprehensively fulfill all production and business plan targets and indicators. The Group will continue to focus on ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, further improving working conditions, and ensuring wages and income for employees; striving for an average salary across the Group of over 17 million VND/person/month, an increase of 3.7% compared to the plan and 2% compared to 2023; and continuing to care for the health, material and spiritual well-being of employees.
