Currently, the orientation of sustainable agricultural production is shifting from production thinking to economic thinking. Applying digital transformation is one of the top priority and most practical solutions to help the dragon fruit industry change its thinking and approach to customers, especially product transparency to increase product value to target demanding markets.
The project “Promoting private investment in low-carbon agriculture and climate change response, contributing to the implementation of Vietnam's NDC” is being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with UNDP in the two provinces of Binh Thuan and Bac Lieu to promote the participation of the private sector in the implementation of Vietnam's NDC. One of the important contents of the project is to support the implementation of digital solutions, traceability systems and information support for the two supply chains of dragon fruit and shrimp. Thereby, promoting production transformation towards increasing added value, being environmentally friendly, saving energy, saving water, and using resources rationally.
