According to the report, up to now, the inventory of land acquisition for the Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plant Project has been 100% completed, with 534 households/405.5 hectares and more than 1,890 graves. The existing residential area alone has completed the inventory of 57 households/7.36 hectares of recovered land. The People's Committee of Vinh Hai Commune has surveyed and compiled data on the recovered land area calculated from the isolation belt to 1,000m (buffer zone of the Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plant), with the total recovered land area expected to expand by 287 hectares. It is estimated that there will be 447 more households resettled; 202 hectares of agricultural land, 9 hectares of residential land, and 76 hectares of land managed by the People's Committee of the commune must be recovered. The total estimated compensation amount is 4,500 billion VND.

At the meeting, Vinh Hai Commune People's Committee proposed that the Provincial People's Committee direct relevant departments, branches and units to promptly set up markers to determine the safe distance and land acquisition boundaries of the project and its component projects, especially the location of the new resettlement area to help people grasp information and proactively implement land acquisition; assign the task of continuing to carry out compensation, land acquisition, support and resettlement to the Commune People's Committee; support provincial-level professional staff in land management and compensation for land acquisition for localities...
Concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Minh Hoang requested relevant departments, branches and sectors to closely coordinate with the People's Committee of Vinh Hai commune to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles. He requested to urgently mark the safety distance and land acquisition boundary of the project and its component projects; have a plan to select the most suitable resettlement location in My Hoa village according to the proposal of the Commune People's Committee. At the same time, he requested to review and propose a plan to use officers and employees who have participated in the project's inventory and compensation work, striving to complete the land acquisition task in 2025. He also directed to arrange provincial-level professional officers to directly support and strengthen local work to help Vinh Hai commune improve the capacity and effectiveness of land acquisition work; requested to review the decisions approving specific land prices that have been issued, assess their suitability, and at the same time guide localities to implement them to ensure strict legality in compensation. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Minh Hoang emphasized that this is a national key project; therefore, units need to focus highly to ensure the progress and effectiveness of site clearance work, creating a solid foundation for the construction of Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plant.
