Easy charging, long range, VF 8 owners are flocking to these bikes for a summer trip.
“Ho Chi Minh City now has another charging station with a ‘million-dollar view’! This time, V-Green launched a charging station opposite Ben Thanh Market, the New World Saigon Hotel, and the Independence Palace. Soon, many more 120 kW super-fast charging stations will open in Ho Chi Minh City to serve VinFast drivers,” shared car owner Manh Cuong, receiving much support from the electric vehicle user community.
Previously, many large-scale VinFast electric vehicle charging stations also appeared in Hanoi . For example, the charging station at Giap Bat Bus Station (Hanoi) has 40 DC 120kW fast charging ports. At the same time, V-Green also recently opened Hanoi's largest super-fast charging station: 42 charging stations – equivalent to 84 vehicles charging simultaneously – in Nho Son.
In addition to expanding charging stations in major cities, V-Green charging stations are also continuously being opened along expressways, national highways, and in rural and mountainous areas.
“Charging stations are everywhere now; you can find one anywhere. I’ve traveled across Vietnam many times and I just used the VinFast app to find the nearest location, it was very easy,” said Phung The Trong (from the Xe Cong channel), who has had many experiences traveling across Vietnam with electric vehicles.

On many forums, numerous electric vehicle owners share the noticeable difference at various stops and along routes across Vietnam as new charging stations spring up daily. Many owners are therefore confidently planning cross-Vietnam trips this summer, especially with the VF 8 – a model considered ideal for comfortable family journeys.
Besides its spacious interior, what gives many VF 8 owners the confidence to conquer any road is its impressive range – up to 562 km on a single full charge (Eco version, CATL battery). This is a comfortable distance for owners to travel without worry. “I traveled over 5,000 km from North to South, the car ran smoothly, and every 250-300 km I stopped and charged for an hour, which was enough. It was good for the car and convenient for resting. The trip went more smoothly than expected,” shared Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tai, a VF 8 owner who completed a cross-Vietnam journey.
Discounts of up to 168 million VND for the "king" model in the 1 billion VND price range.
Many car owners affirm that, in addition to its long-distance driving capability, VinFast's D-SUV model also boasts a range of high-end features that allow users to comfortably enjoy every journey.
Mr. Tran Minh Hung, a car owner in Hanoi, recently completed a long trip to Hue with his family. He said that his entire family traveled over 1,300 km round trip comfortably thanks to the car's high-end features such as dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10-speaker sound system with a subwoofer, an air purification system, and a panoramic sunroof… These are features that many gasoline-powered cars in the same segment would struggle to match.
In particular, the engine boasts a power output of up to 402 horsepower, a torque of up to 620 Nm, and a full-time all-wheel drive (AWD) system, giving him the confidence to tackle any terrain. "These are features only found in cars costing several billion dong," the owner asserted.
Many car owners share the opinion that what the VinFast VF 8 offers far exceeds its price, making the Vietnamese automaker's D-segment eSUV the most worthwhile purchase in the 1 billion VND price range. Notably, the price of owning a VF 8 is more attractive than ever thanks to special promotional packages.
Specifically, VinFast is offering a 4% discount on electric vehicles as part of its third "Strong Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" program. The Vietnamese automaker is also providing a VND 70 million subsidy for customers upgrading from gasoline to electric vehicles, and a VND 50 million bonus (converted into VinClub points) for owners registering in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Furthermore, all VinFast owners will receive free charging until the end of June 2027.
The total value of the offers amounts to over 168. million VND. The on-the-road cost of the VF 8 for the highest version is only about 1.1 billion VND - comparable to some C-segment gasoline cars.
“I think now is the ideal time to switch to an electric vehicle. The VF 8 not only offers better value for money, but also comes with comprehensive support from charging to after-sales service,” said Tran Minh Hoang, who recently switched to a VF 8 after nearly 10 years of using a gasoline car.
In addition to traditional distribution channels through a nationwide dealer network, customers can easily order electric cars through a digitized "from A to Z" process on the VinFast website at: https://shop.vinfastauto.com/vn_vi/dat-coc-o-to-dien-vinfast.html . When purchasing a car online, customers receive an additional 2% discount on the car's price after all current policies have been applied. |
