The program was attended by Professor Phan Van Truong, founder of the Seedling Cultivation ecosystem; former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan, along with businesses, startup communities inside and outside the province, farmers, cooperatives, and youth union members in My Tho commune.
The program opens up a space for connecting and sharing ideas on developing natural farming practices, building agricultural value chains, and developing local communities in a sustainable direction.

During the program, Professor Phan Van Truong shared many insights on systems thinking, building symbiotic ecosystems, and the entrepreneurial journey based on local values. According to Professor Phan Van Truong, entrepreneurship isn't about doing something huge right from the start, but rather about understanding your product, investing intellectual resources to enhance its value, creating differentiation, and ensuring sustainable competitiveness.

Professor Phan Van Truong argues that Vietnamese agriculture, especially in the Mekong Delta, possesses many advantages in terms of local resources, culture, and natural conditions. However, if it only focuses on selling raw materials, it will be difficult to increase value. What is needed now is a shift in mindset from "selling products" to "selling value," knowing how to tell the story of the land, the people, and the products they produce.

Speaking at the event, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan said that starting a business doesn't necessarily have to begin with something too grand or a large-scale investment, but what's important is knowing how to look back at your local products to invest in intellectual capital and enhance their value.
According to former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan, today's farmers should not only focus on production but also know how to add value to agricultural products through cultural stories, processing methods, packaging, branding, and market access. When each product is invested in with creative thinking and kindness, the value of agricultural products will be raised higher and create sustainable livelihoods for local people.

Within the framework of the program, delegates also participated in various exchange activities on building an agricultural economic ecosystem, developing community tourism, e-commerce, and stories of building local brands. Many businesses, young entrepreneurs, and local farmers shared practical models in natural farming, experiential tourism, and the development of OCOP products associated with local resources.

More than just a forum for sharing knowledge, the Southern Foundation Planting Congress also creates a space for connecting startup communities, businesses, and local people. Through this, it contributes to spreading the spirit of natural development, promoting local values, and fostering community linkages in rural economic development in the Mekong Delta today.
