Iran will sell oil without restrictions during the negotiations.

Details of a “possible preliminary agreement” between Iran and the US suggest Washington would commit to waiving sanctions on Iranian oil during negotiations, allowing Tehran to sell oil without sanctions restrictions, Tasnim reported.

According to information available so far, if the terms of the preliminary agreement are confirmed by both sides, an initial memorandum of understanding (MOU) will be published – emphasizing the cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon. Under this provision, Israel, as an ally of the United States, would also have to end its military campaign in Lebanon.

Subsequently, a 30-day period was planned for implementing measures related to a naval blockade and the Strait of Hormuz, while a 60-day period was set for negotiations on the nuclear issue.

Iran has not yet accepted any action related to the nuclear field at this stage.

A portion of Iran's frozen assets must be released immediately.

Information regarding the details of the preliminary agreement may suggest that if this memorandum of understanding is approved, a portion of Iran's frozen assets must be released as an initial step.

Having had previous negative experiences with the US violating commitments regarding asset release, Iran insists that any preliminary memorandum of understanding must be tied to the condition of releasing at least a portion of the assets in a way that is accessible to the country.

Reports indicate that the US recently sought to link the release of these assets to a possible final agreement on the nuclear issue, but Iran insists that at least a portion must be released immediately upon the announcement of the preliminary agreement. There are also reports that the mechanism for releasing the remaining assets must be determined during negotiations, and if the US continues to obstruct the release, Iran will reconsider future talks.

The situation in the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its pre-war state.

Information regarding the details of the preliminary agreement may also suggest that if this memorandum of understanding is adopted, the "status of the Strait of Hormuz" will not revert to pre-war conditions.

Despite some Western media reports suggesting the situation in the Strait of Hormuz would revert to its pre-war state within 30 days, the agreement that could be reached is not a complete restoration of the previous status quo, but rather a return of shipping traffic to pre-war levels within 30 days.

Accordingly, Iran emphasizes the exercise of its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz through various means, details of which will be announced later.

Furthermore, under the agreement, the naval blockade against Iran must be completely lifted within 30 days. If the blockade is not lifted, there will be no changes to the Strait of Hormuz. Any changes related to transit through the Strait of Hormuz also depend on the US fulfilling other commitments in the memorandum.

End hostilities on all fronts.

Information regarding the details of the preliminary agreement may indicate that if this memorandum of understanding is approved, the end of the war between “the United States and its allies” and “Iran and its allies” on “all fronts” will be declared. This also includes Israel’s war against Lebanon.

The report also indicated that Iran emphasized another point highlighted by the US commitment to withdrawing combat forces from the area surrounding Iran.

Disagreements still remain.

However, Tasnim said that Iran and the US still disagree on one or two points: "A knowledgeable source told Tasnim that there are still disagreements between Iran and the US on one or two points in the potential cooperation memorandum, and this issue remains unresolved due to US obstruction," Tasnim said.

Tasnim reported that the removal of enriched uranium from Iran was not mentioned in the memorandum of understanding with the United States.

"Information regarding the details of a 'possible' preliminary agreement between Iran and the United States shows that, contrary to claims by some Western media outlets that Iran's obligation to remove enriched nuclear material from the country is stipulated in the memorandum, Iran has not made any commitments related to this matter," the statement said.
