Carrots are a staple crop in the winter season in the western part of Hai Phong. Carrots are mainly grown on the banks of the Thai Binh River in the communes of Tue Tinh and Thai Tan. At the beginning of the season, due to the impact of heavy rain and floods, the river water rose and flooded the banks, so carrot planting was interrupted.
