All water samples met the requirements.

It is known that previously, on August 23, 2023, the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control conducted monitoring and collected clean water samples from the Hung Vinh, Hung Nguyen, and Cau Bach water treatment plants, as well as from households in Vinh City and surrounding areas.

Water samples were taken from the aforementioned plants belonging to Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company, which supplies clean water to Vinh City and its surrounding areas. Specifically, the Hung Vinh Water Plant (Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City) uses water from the Lam River as its source, with a capacity of 40,000 m3/day; the Cau Bach Water Plant (Nam Giang Commune, Nam Dan District) uses water from the Lam River as its source, with a capacity of 20,000 m3/day; and the Hung Nguyen Water Plant (Hung Nguyen Town) uses water from the Dao River.

A total of 10 clean water samples were taken for quality monitoring testing, including 3 samples from the 3 aforementioned plants and 7 samples from 7 households in Nam Giang commune, Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan district), Hung Nguyen town (Hung Nguyen district), Truong Thi ward, Ben Thuy ward, Hung Dung ward and Le Loi ward (Vinh City).

All 10 water samples were evaluated according to local standard 01:2021/NA, with testing conducted at the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control. The results showed that all 10/10 water samples met local standard 01:2021/NA.

These are samples of clean water from the Hung Vinh Water Treatment Plant (Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City), the Cau Bach Water Treatment Plant (Nam Giang Commune - Nam Dan District), the Hung Nguyen Water Treatment Plant (Hung Nguyen Town); clean water samples from the households of: Le Ba Khanh Thanh (Lien Mau 1 Hamlet, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District), Le Duy Manh (Hamlet 3, Nam Giang Commune, Nam Dan District), Vo Duc Hung (Block 9, Hung Nguyen Town, Hung Nguyen District), Hua Hong Tu (136 Le Hong Phong Street, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City), Mr. Tuan's household (Wood Factory Collective Housing Area, Block 11, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City), Nguyen Thi Lien (222 Phong Dinh Cang Street, Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City) and a clean water sample from the Bangkok Hot Pot restaurant (63C Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City).

The Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control recommends that the Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company continue to effectively implement clean water quality management activities in accordance with Regulation No. 01:2021/NA.

In case of any water quality incidents, the company must immediately report to the local authorities and relevant management agencies, and rectify the issues promptly. Upon rectification, samples should be taken, all parameters tested, and the water quality results reported to the Department of Health and the Department of Construction in accordance with the regulations in Circular No. 41/2028/BYT.

On the morning of September 8, 2023, the leaders of Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company stated that in its production and business activities, the company always strives to seriously implement the management of clean water quality according to Regulation No. 01:2021/NA to serve the people and avoid cases where the quality of clean water supplied to customers does not meet the requirements.
