HNP - On August 21, the People's Council of Tay Ho ward organized a meeting with voters on "Building an elegant and civilized lifestyle; ensuring a Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful environment" in the area.

At the Conference, many voters acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts that Tay Ho Ward has implemented in the past time. The streets have been renovated and decorated, the landscape of residential areas has been significantly improved, and people's awareness of environmental sanitation and building an elegant lifestyle has been gradually improved. Movements such as regular cleaning, spontaneous waste treatment, tidy arrangement of shops, as well as coordination with the electricity and telecommunications sectors to improve technical infrastructure have created positive changes, contributing to a new look for the locality.

Along with the results achieved, voters also frankly pointed out many remaining problems such as: the situation of some garbage collection points is not reasonable, affecting the urban beauty and people's lives; the encroachment on the road and sidewalks around West Lake for business is still complicated; the system of electric wires and telecommunication cables is slow to be buried underground, causing unsafety and lack of aesthetics. In addition, the situation of localized flooding during heavy rains also makes people's lives difficult.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ho Ward affirmed that this topic is completely consistent with the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Ward for the term 2025 - 2030. At the same time, he requested relevant units to receive feedback, inspect, handle, and make adjustments suitable to actual needs, best serving the people's lives. Thereby, gradually building Tay Ho Ward into a cultural, service, and tourism center of the Capital.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council requested relevant units to step up leadership and direction to strictly implement Directive No. 44-CT/TU dated July 24, 2025 of the Hanoi Party Committee on strengthening environmental sanitation and urban order management. In addition, Plan No. 20-KH/DU dated July 31, 2025 of the City People's Committee Party Committee aims to concretize the directive with clear tasks at each agency, unit, school and residential area.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen said that this spirit needs to be spread to every cadre, party member, student and citizen so that each individual clearly sees the responsibility in preserving the living environment. In particular, the Ward People's Committee needs to have a specific roadmap and priority order in handling petitions, and at the same time publicize the implementation results to the people without waiting for the People's Council meeting. "Resolving voters' petitions must be considered a driving force to solve people's problems, strengthen trust and enhance social consensus," Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen emphasized.

Immediately after the thematic meeting, the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council will summarize all opinions and recommendations to submit to the Ward People's Committee for resolution according to its authority. At the same time, the Ward People's Council will monitor the implementation process and inform voters of the results, ensuring publicity, transparency and timeliness.
