Tay Ninh: Striving for total aquaculture output to reach 174,000 tons in 2025

According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, by 2025, Tay Ninh province strives to reach aquaculture output of 174,000 tons.

To achieve the plan, the Department of Agriculture and Environment focuses on directing the farming season and farming methods suitable to the farming conditions of each region; promoting the transfer and application of science and technology in aquaculture production.

The Department well implements the plan for monitoring the water environment in brackish water aquaculture areas; promptly informs about monitoring results and recommends technical solutions for treating the water environment in aquaculture areas.

In addition, the Department strengthens the quarantine of aquatic species; implements aquatic disease surveillance in farming areas; and closely monitors the shrimp farming situation in the Dong Thap Muoi region.

At the same time, the Department will step up propaganda and provide technical solutions for people to raise brackish water shrimp safely and limit disease outbreaks; guide businesses, cooperatives, and farming households to properly implement regulations on conditions and commodity standards;.../.
