Techcombank welcomes 'Practical AI' talent to tour its headquarters.

At Techcombank headquarters, outstanding contestants from the 'AI in Action' competition participated in an "Office Tour" to learn about Techcombank's operational model, business strategy, talent retention policies, and the Masterise Group and One Mount Group ecosystems.

The “Office Tour” at Techcombank also featured the judging panel of the “AI in Practice” program: Prof. Dr. Ho Tu Bao - Institute for Advanced Studies in Mathematics, National Advisory Council on Science and Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation; Prof. Dr. Chu Duc Trinh - Rector of the University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phi Le - Director of the Institute for Research and Application of Artificial Intelligence, Hanoi University of Science and Technology; and Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Anh - Member of the National Council for Education and Human Resource Development of Vietnam, Vice President of the Hanoi Educational Psychology Association.

The outstanding contestants of the "AI in Action" competition also received a warm welcome from Techcombank's leadership and ecosystem: Ms. Nguyen Thi Diu - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Masterise Group; Mr. Phung Quang Hung - General Director of One Mount Group; Ms. Thai Minh Diem Tu - Director of Marketing at Techcombank, along with many other leaders from the human resources, technology, and data departments.

As outstanding contestants from various universities, businesses, research institutes, and technology organizations nationwide, these AI talents were impressed when they directly listened to and discussed Techcombank's direction and strategy for applying artificial intelligence in digital transformation and its ecosystem. They expressed enthusiasm and were drawn to Techcombank's employer brand, inspired by senior leaders in their efforts to attract AI and technology talent, as well as the unique policies and programs of Techcombank's human resources and ecosystem.

Promoting the development of artificial intelligence human resources: Under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security , "AI in Action," jointly organized by the National Data Center, the National Data Association, Vietnam Television (VTV), and Techcombank, is considered the first national AI competition broadcast on television, aiming to find and nurture AI talents for the country, preparing for new opportunities for a Vietnam that reaches new heights.

Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, representing the National Data Center, highly praised the practical capabilities of the teams that reached the semi-finals. He also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Techcombank for its role as co-organizer and exclusive sponsor of the program. He emphasized, “Techcombank’s partnership not only demonstrates a strategic vision for investing in AI and data technology, but also shows the social responsibility of a pioneering financial institution that always considers innovation and the development of technological talent as the focus of sustainable development.”

He also expressed confidence that after this visit, "the teams will gain a clearer understanding of the scale, vision, and role of data in AI technology development, while fostering a greater desire to contribute and innovate for the country."

Speaking at the event, contestant Nguyen Song Thien Long - representing the URAx team from Ho Chi Minh City - shared his experiences participating in a national-level competition like 'AI in Practice': “The competition has helped us mature and understand that AI is not just a model or algorithm. AI must be a tool to solve real-world problems in society and unlock value for the community. And for us, this is just the beginning - the beginning of a journey to bring Vietnamese-language AI out of the research lab and into practical applications for Vietnamese people.”

Techcombank always welcomes and supports AI talent. At the event, Techcombank reaffirmed its strategic priority of developing data and artificial intelligence talent. The bank currently has a team of over 1,800 employees working in information technology and data fields – a threefold increase since 2020 and accounting for 15% of its total workforce at present.
