Techcombank Investment Summit 2025: “New Vietnam

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc shared the Government's determination in renovating the economic structure, prioritizing promoting development drivers, aiming for double-digit growth in the coming time, becoming a developed and high-income country by 2045.

On behalf of the Government, the Deputy Prime Minister thanked domestic and foreign investors for their contributions over the past time, considering this a new growth driver, contributing to the continued development of the economy, and determined to strive for the country to achieve a growth rate of over 10% from 2026 onwards.

At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated Techcombank’s initiative in “developing smart, flexible financial products and optimal and effective asset management solutions for individuals, households and businesses”. These efforts have contributed to creating a dynamic and safe financial foundation for investors and businesses in and outside the private economic sector to make a breakthrough.

Also within the framework of the event, Dr. Tamara Henderson - Senior Economist Bloomberg, with nearly 40 years of experience in economics, brought to the Conference an in-depth and independent perspective on the challenges facing the global economy.

“In that context, Vietnam is emerging as a country that has captured the strong technology trend. Specifically, the export figures for electronic equipment have increased significantly since 2015, bringing Vietnam to the group of world leading countries in exports in this field.”

According to this economist, Vietnam is a country with a great advantage in terms of its young population. This helps Vietnam to develop its internal strength, reduce its dependence on external factors, and thereby attract FDI sustainably. She expressed optimism about the prospect of international investment and “hopes that investors will continue to explore new value creation opportunities, and together with Vietnam, bring growth to a new level, reaching 10% or higher”.

Many major investors in the fields of aviation, logistics, finance, telecommunications, infrastructure, healthcare, high technology, big data, AI, as well as green energy and sustainable development... were present and expressed their interest and investment expectations with a positive medium and long-term strategic vision in Vietnam.
