On the afternoon of August 30th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting with businesses on the theme "80 Years of Businesses Accompanying the Nation". Representatives from 60 state-owned corporations and companies, along with 141 private enterprises and 50 FDI enterprises, attended the conference.
The mark of a major corporation in its journey of accompanying Vietnam's development.
Mr. Le Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group (PVN), stated that the group has achieved tremendous results and accomplishments over the past 50 years, with total assets exceeding 1 trillion VND and equity exceeding 840,000 billion VND. Total revenue reached 599 billion USD.
Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel, shared that in addition to telecommunications, high technology, and logistics, the group has now mastered many strategic weapons systems, completed research and manufacturing of more than 50 types of high-tech weapons and equipment, and effectively served the training and combat readiness tasks of many units under the Ministry of National Defense .

From the perspective of a foreign business with a long-standing commitment to Vietnam, Mr. Eita Fujikawa, General Director of Sumitomo Corporation Vietnam, shared that since operating in Vietnam since 1990, the corporation has participated in many important projects such as infrastructure development, power plant development, and other key industries.
"We aspire to contribute to Vietnam's goal of becoming a developed country by 2045 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. We will also continue to support improving the lives of Vietnamese people, creating green products that are in line with the development trends of the times," said Mr. Fujikawa, adding that the group is committed to undertaking large-scale projects in Vietnam.
Bruno Jaspaert, General Director of DEEP C Industrial Park Complex, said he learned from a Vietnamese proverb, "With hard work and perseverance, one can achieve success," meaning that if you work diligently, you will eventually achieve success.
Speaking as a foreign investor in Vietnam, this individual stated that the company has received many good opportunities and favorable conditions. "To date, we have attracted approximately $8 billion in FDI. We achieved this figure through working with various ministries, departments, and the Vietnamese government," the individual said.
Mr. Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group, said that the company started in Da Nang and, since 2007, has pioneered the systematic investment and development of tourism through a tourism ecosystem, with resort and entertainment projects stretching from North to South.
Mr. Tran Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group, said that the Indonesian government has recently selected CT Group as a key partner in developing the ecosystem for Indonesia's low-altitude space economy and UAV industry, serving various fields such as energy, agriculture, forestry, etc., and the signing ceremony was held in Jakarta.
For the first time, a Vietnamese private enterprise has been selected by a G20 country as a key partner in a high-tech sector: low-altitude space economy and UAVs.

We urge businesses to continue innovating their thinking and expanding their markets.
Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the historical significance of the event in the atmosphere of celebrating the August Revolution, National Day on September 2nd, and looking forward to Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day. The Prime Minister delivered a message outlining the direction for the business community in the new phase.
Accordingly, the business community has always stood alongside the nation in all circumstances, from wartime to peacetime, making important contributions to mobilizing resources for resistance and nation-building, as well as pioneering in economic development and social welfare.
After nearly 40 years of reform, the number of businesses has increased sharply to nearly 1 million, of which 98% are private. The Prime Minister urged businesses to continue innovating their thinking, expanding markets, unlocking resources, and cooperating with the public and private sectors to develop an independent and self-reliant economy and integrate deeply into the international community.
The Prime Minister stated that the Party and the State have always paid special attention to and created a favorable environment for businesses to develop sustainably.
Entering a new era, the business community and entrepreneurs need to uphold the glorious 80-year tradition, continue to innovate, and strive for strong growth to work together with the country to successfully achieve the two 100-year strategic goals set forth by the 13th National Congress of the Party, towards a prosperous and strong Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading nations.
