Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, Nguyen Van Ut, said that the launch of the intensive campaign to attack and suppress crime aims to ensure absolute security and safety for the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly , and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, while maintaining social order and safety during Christmas, New Year's Day, and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.
This is a particularly important peak period, a key and urgent task for the province in the late 2025 and early 2026 period; demonstrating Dong Nai's political determination to maintain a peaceful and stable environment for socio-economic development and ensure a peaceful life for the people.
In particular, 2026 is the first and most important year, serving as the foundation for implementing the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels. Therefore, the Provincial Police, along with other departments, agencies, and localities, will focus on effectively advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on comprehensively and promptly directing tasks and solutions to ensure political security and social order and safety.
The police force is advising on mobilizing the strength of the entire political system to participate in preventing, attacking, and suppressing all types of crime, ensuring security and safety for important events in the province; in the immediate future, focusing on implementing plans to ensure security and safety for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of projects and works celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Party.
In addition, the police force is strengthening its presence at the grassroots level, proactively advising local Party committees and authorities to promptly resolve complex issues and emerging problems related to security and order, especially in border areas and remote regions. They are focusing on effectively implementing plans and measures to ensure traffic safety and order throughout the province, especially on key routes and areas, ensuring smooth traffic flow to serve the needs of goods transportation, travel, sightseeing, and tourism, particularly during Christmas, New Year's Day, and Lunar New Year holidays.
Issuing the order to launch the intensive campaign, Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Police, informed that from 8:00 AM on December 12, 2025, heads of professional departments, heads of ward and commune police stations, and heads of police posts are to effectively organize, command, and direct the work, mobilize maximum forces and resources, and simultaneously launch a campaign to ensure security and order, with the highest goal of ensuring absolute safety for the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly, and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, and ensuring security and order for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 as planned.
