Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh said that promoting research, development, and application of AI in practice is a top priority for the Government in order to form new growth models, improve labor productivity, promote digital transformation, and develop a sustainable digital economy.

According to Deputy Minister Le Xuan Dinh, the Law on Artificial Intelligence has officially come into effect, creating an important legal framework for research, development, deployment, and application of AI in Vietnam. Along with this, the system of mechanisms, policies, and implementation plans is continuously being refined to develop AI in a safe, reliable, and responsible manner, while promoting innovation and commercialization of the technology.

According to Mr. Tran Dac Hien, Director of the Department of Information and Statistics, many AI products currently available in Vietnam are not only being transferred to Vietnam but are also being proactively researched, developed, and technologically mastered by Vietnamese scientists , research institutes, universities, and businesses.

According to Mr. Hien, Techmart AI 2026 is not only an opportunity to promote and advertise AI products from both domestic and international sources, but also contributes to affirming Vietnam's capacity for research, development, and application of artificial intelligence.
