New names for 26 hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has just decided to rename 17 hospitals in the Ho Chi Minh City area, 3 hospitals in the former Binh Duong area, and 6 hospitals in the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau area.

On August 9th, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee officially issued a decision to rename 26 hospitals under the management of the Department of Health in the newly established Ho Chi Minh City area. Of these, 17 hospitals are in the former Ho Chi Minh City area, 3 in the former Binh Duong area, and 6 in the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau area.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to take responsibility for directing the transfer of personnel and finances at the aforementioned hospitals, while maintaining the current status quo.

At the same time, it is urgent to issue regulations on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of hospitals in accordance with the law and the delegated authority.
