Ten Hag trains like a military camp for Man Utd

Man Utd players could face a tough week of training when they return this summer, in preparation for the 2023-2024 season.

According to the Sun on June 25, coach Erik Ten Hag has planned training for the new season. He plans to apply the training style often used in military camps. Initially, Man Utd players will have to undergo two training sessions four days a week. The training sessions focus on both physical and mental endurance. Staff at the Carrington training center jokingly call it "Hell Week", a term often used to describe SAS special forces camps.

"Last summer, Ten Hag had the players doing push-ups and other physical exercises," said a Man Utd insider. "This time, it seems some players were really devastated when they heard the news."

Ten Hag will return to work this weekend. Players who did not play for the national team in early June will have to report on July 3. Man Utd's final game of last season, the FA Cup final, was on June 3.
