Ten Hag is giving Man Utd a military-style training session.

Manchester United players may have to undergo a rigorous training week upon their return this summer, in preparation for the 2023-2024 season.

According to The Sun on June 25th, manager Erik Ten Hag has planned the training schedule for the new season. He intends to adopt a training style commonly used in military camps. Initially, Manchester United players will undergo four days of training, with two sessions per week. The training sessions will focus on both physical and mental endurance. Staff at the Carrington training center jokingly refer to it as "Hell Week," a term often used to describe SAS special forces camps.

"Last summer, Ten Hag had the players doing push-ups and other fitness exercises," a source within Man Utd revealed. "This time, it seems some players were really shaken up when they heard the news."

Ten Hag will return to work this weekend. Players who did not play for their national teams in early June will have to report by July 3rd. Man Utd's last game of the season, the FA Cup final, was on June 3rd.

Manchester United have not signed any players in the summer transfer window. The Red Devils submitted three offers for Mason Mount to Chelsea, but all were rejected due to not meeting their price demands. They are also targeting Moises Caicedo, Harry Kane, Andre Onana, and Victor Osimhen.
