Pham Phu Thu Primary School (Nong Son commune) recently launched the "Warm Spring for Children" campaign to encourage, motivate, and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds to avoid dropping out of school and to excel in their studies. On this occasion, the school presented 33 gifts (worth 500,000 VND each) from contributions by the school's staff, teachers, and benefactors.

Teacher Nguyen Dinh Tung, Principal of Pham Phu Thu Primary School, shared that, understanding the unfortunate lives of children who are less fortunate, orphaned of their fathers or mothers, some orphaned of both parents, and many other unfortunate circumstances, the school always pays attention to ensuring that these children have a more fulfilling new spring season.

Along with the themed "Spring Connection - Loving Tet" experiential playground featuring a series of beneficial activities such as making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), bamboo pole dancing, decorating candy baskets, singing traditional folk songs, and performing arts, Hoang Dieu Primary School (Nong Son commune) always stands by underprivileged students every spring.

This year, using funds raised, the school awarded 45 gifts to support students with disabilities and those who are frequently ill. In addition, the school collaborated with various organizations and benefactors to provide 125 gifts (500,000 VND each) to students facing hardship.

Ms. Le Thi Minh Thong, the school principal, said: “The program ‘Spring Connection - Loving Tet’ aims to promote the spirit of mutual support and compassion, helping disadvantaged children and young people have better conditions to celebrate Tet.”

On the eve of the Lunar New Year, various agencies, organizations, and volunteer groups donated 46 gift packages and school uniforms worth over 25 million VND to disadvantaged students at Le Van Tam Secondary School (Dien Ban Bac Ward). This collective effort not only provided meaningful Tet gifts but also conveyed affection, trust, and encouragement, helping the students to have more motivation to excel in their studies. Previously, benefactors donated bicycles to make the students' journey to school less arduous.

Recently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nong Son commune distributed 129 gift packages to support students whose families were affected by flooding in the commune, with a total value of 64.5 million VND (from the Relief Fund's fundraising committee). In addition, Huong Sen Kindergarten (Nong Son commune) also distributed 30 gift packages to students to help them have a more comfortable Tet holiday. Every spring, many charitable programs aimed at remote and disadvantaged areas are organized by various levels of government and the community.

Ms. Zơ Râm Kiên, Principal of Nam Giang Kindergarten (Nam Giang commune), said: “We deeply appreciate and are grateful for the generous hearts of the organizations and benefactors who, despite the long distances, came to donate meaningful gifts to our poor students. We hope there will be more volunteer efforts to help share the difficulties with people in mountainous areas.”
