Born into a family with a rich revolutionary tradition, with both my father and grandfather being veteran revolutionaries, in 1943, despite being only 14 years old, I was entrusted by the Viet Minh with an important task: guarding secret meetings of Viet Minh cadres; and delivering revolutionary documents to bases in the district…
In August 1945, the atmosphere of preparation for the uprising in Ninh Hoa was fervent throughout the villages and hamlets. On the morning of August 20th, upon receiving the order to launch the uprising and seize power, the Viet Minh in Thanh Khe Ha, Ngo Khe Ha, and Ang Ngu villages promptly mobilized and gathered hundreds of people, with the support of armed self-defense teams in the communes, to coordinate with the people of neighboring communes to join the people of the province in seizing power in Gia Khanh district and Ninh Binh province.
A few days later, the Provisional Revolutionary People's Committee of Ninh Hoa commune was established. On September 2nd, 1945, the commune organized a massive rally, gathering a large number of people. A long line of people went to Ninh Binh town to participate in the rally, celebrating this historic change. That day, I was also among the group of women with long hair who went to the rally. It was a special day with a large number of revolutionary troops from the districts and communes pouring in, red flags with yellow stars filling the town, and propaganda and mobilization efforts with unprecedented enthusiasm. The streets were filled with flags and flowers, and people were joyful and excited, because everyone understood that from then on, the people had escaped from slavery and suffering, the government was in the hands of the people, and the people had a life of freedom and independence. That was truly a great happiness. The country became increasingly prosperous, the people increasingly enjoyed a life of warmth, happiness, and September 2nd every year became the Independence Day of the Vietnamese people. For me, the first Independence Day will forever remain a sacred and unforgettable memory.

September 2nd – National Day – is a day when we all reflect on the glorious history of our nation, remembering the sacrifices of generations of our ancestors who died for the independence and freedom of our country. For the youth of Hoa Lu, National Day is not just a holiday, but also a day to affirm our will and determination to build our homeland. We are always proud of the glorious historical traditions of Hoa Lu, the birthplace of national heroes and talented individuals.
It is this tradition that has motivated us young people to constantly strive, study, and train ourselves to be worthy of our responsibility as the future masters of the country. In recent years, as the leader of the Hoa Lu District Youth Union, I, along with Youth Union officials at all levels in the district, have directed the enthusiastic, practical, and effective implementation of Youth Union work and youth movements.
The youth of Hoa Lu have engaged in many practical and active activities, participating in volunteer work, helping those in difficult circumstances, protecting the environment, and building new rural areas... Notable examples in the first six months of 2024 include: constructing the Youth Tree Planting project in Truong Yen commune; participating in environmental sanitation campaigns on "Green Sunday" during Youth Month and the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign; donating over 100 gifts to disadvantaged youth volunteers, students, and struggling young workers...
Looking to the future, we, the youth of Hoa Lu, pledge to continue inheriting and developing the glorious revolutionary traditions of our nation, constantly learning and training to become useful citizens for society. We will always be united, creative, and dynamic to contribute to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized Hoa Lu homeland.
National pride fuels the determination to build a prosperous homeland and country.
Although I didn't witness the historic moment of the nation's first National Day on September 2nd firsthand, through documentary films and articles, I still clearly felt the sacred, heroic atmosphere and the overwhelming joy of our people. Every September 2nd, my heart is filled with emotion and pride. I remember the glorious history of our nation, the sacrifices of countless generations of our ancestors. These things have become the flame that ignites my will and determination, urging me to strive relentlessly.
As the Head of the Maintenance and Repair Team, directly responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of the company's two rolling mill lines in case of malfunctions, I have always upheld a high sense of responsibility and set a good example in managing and operating the team. In particular, I actively participate in occupational safety and health initiatives and the "Excellent Worker, Creative Worker" movement, constantly seeking out, learning, and researching topics, ideas, and innovations to apply in practice, bringing many benefits to the enterprise.
In particular, my initiative "Developing a specialized vehicle to reduce time and manpower, and increase safety when disassembling the drive shaft and inspecting the gear coupling of the vertical rolling mill" has benefited the company by over 600 million VND per year and was selected for implementation in all Kyoei Steel Corporation factories worldwide from December 2019.
Thanks to these efforts, over the years, I have consistently been evaluated and ranked as having excellently completed my assigned tasks and have received many awards from various levels and sectors; in particular, in 2023, I was honored to be one of the outstanding workers awarded the 4th Nguyen Duc Canh Prize by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor .
Every day, coming to the company and witnessing the production lines constantly in operation, I feel I am contributing a small part to the development of my homeland and country. I tell myself that I will always strive to learn, improve my skills, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements; especially, I will continue to research and innovate to come up with technical improvement solutions, contributing to the creation of high-quality products… to be worthy of the sacrifices of our ancestors and the attention that the Party and State have given us.
