On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Ho Chi Minh City will support union members, teachers and workers in the education sector in difficult circumstances with 500,000 VND/case.

The Ho Chi Minh City Education Trade Union has just planned to organize activities to take care of the Lunar New Year 2024 for union members, officials, teachers and workers. The plan is organized in the spirit of "Tet comes to all union members and workers", in which, the first concern is those in difficult circumstances.
The specific beneficiaries are union members, teachers and workers who have had work-related accidents; union members, teachers and workers or their spouses/children who are terminally ill or critically ill; female union members, teachers and workers who are pregnant or raising children under 12 months old; full-time union officials and other emergency cases.
The level of care offered by the industry union is 500,000 VND/case. In addition, the industry union encourages agencies and units to mobilize social funds to increase the level of care for union members, teachers and workers in difficult circumstances.
For units that are really facing difficulties and do not give Tet bonuses, the grassroots trade union must report the list to the City Education Trade Union before December 5.
