Mr. Khac Viet, a tourist from Hanoi, said that the first time he set foot in Mu waterfall, he was very impressed with the natural scenery here.
“Coming here in the summer, I feel like the temperature is about 10 degrees Celsius lower than in the capital, forgetting that it is hot weather. When I get to Mu waterfall, I really want to forget the way back,” he humorously said.

Anh Viet also said that the road to Mu waterfall is quite convenient, and vehicles can reach the place. From the outside, visitors walk a few hundred meters along the concrete road and stairs that the locals have prepared to reach the waterfall.
According to Mr. Viet, in addition to the large lake at the foot of the waterfall, visitors can swim in areas along Mu stream.

The ideal time to visit this destination is summer, from May to September. At this time, the weather is cool and pleasant and the waterfall has a large amount of water pouring down in layers, creating a more magical space with a clear, clean lake.
Coming to Mu waterfall, in addition to swimming to cool off, visitors can camp, trek to see the scenery or organize outdoor barbecues.

According to Mu Waterfall Tourism Cooperative - the unit that exploits and manages the waterfall, Mu Waterfall has only been put into tourism exploitation in recent years, so accommodation services at this tourist destination have not yet developed strongly.
Currently, visitors to the waterfall, if staying overnight, can choose to rest at some homestays designed in the style of indigenous stilt houses, next to Mu stream area 1, 2, 3 with quite cheap prices, only from 100,000 to 150,000 VND/person/night.

If visiting during the day, visitors can bring tents to camp by the waterfall, sightsee and have a BBQ or rent a hut from the locals for about 100,000 - 200,000 VND/hut to rest and eat.
Coming to Mu waterfall, visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious dishes and local specialties such as mountain snails, bamboo rice, grilled chicken, wild boar meat, wild bamboo shoots, etc. Visitors can order these dishes from the accommodation addresses around the waterfall area, prepared and served by the local people at affordable prices.
