The project started in June 2025; the construction process always received close attention from the local Party Committee, government, and support from neighbors. By August 21, the project was completed, helping the family have a spacious and solid house, gradually overcoming difficulties to rise up in life.
In Loi Bac commune, recently, the houses supported to be built under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses have been mobilized by the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front, and the organizations of the commune. According to research, the whole province has 6,508 households supported to remove temporary houses and dilapidated houses according to the approval decision of the Provincial People's Committee; of which 3,840 new houses were built and 2,668 houses were renovated and repaired. In the past time, with the participation of the entire political system, the attention, support and resources from agencies, units, localities, enterprises, collectives and individuals inside and outside the province, the program has achieved positive results. As of early August 2025, the whole province has started construction and repair of 6,508/6,508 houses under the program, reaching 100%; of which 5,578 houses were completed and put into use, reaching 86%. These last days of August are considered the "sprint" phase of the program. Comrade Nguyen Hoang Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, said: These days, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, the Fatherland Front and member organizations focus on monitoring the situation, strengthening inspection and supervision at the grassroots level, urging and supporting the implementation of construction and repair of houses according to the program. Through inspections and supervisions, we see that the grassroots have been very close and active in implementing the program. At the same time, we have promptly grasped the difficulties and limitations and directed the units to urgently overcome them to speed up the implementation progress.
As a result, as of August 22, the number of houses completed and put into use under the program was 6,371, reaching 97.9%, an increase of 11.9% compared to early August 2025; the remaining 137 houses are in the process of completion. As of August 26, 2025, the whole province has completed and put into use 6,508/6,508 houses, reaching 100% of the approved houses.
It can be affirmed that the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses is a revolution that brings prosperity and safety to thousands of poor and near-poor households, policy families, and households whose houses are affected by natural disasters and climate change in the locality. The program has profound humanistic significance, demonstrating the Party and State's concern for the People, with the spirit of "leaving no one behind", while strengthening the People's trust in the Party and State, and strengthening the great national unity bloc in the locality.
