That is the Kim Lien historical site in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and the historical site of the house of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac (Ho Chi Minh's father).
Visiting the land that gave birth to and raised such a great man for the first time helped me to understand and love his life and his great heart even more.

In the Tân Sửu year (1901) imperial examination, Mr. Nguyễn Sinh Sắc passed and became a Phó Bảng (Associate Scholar). This marked the first time in Sen village, Chung Cự commune (now Kim Liên commune, Nam Đàn district) that someone had achieved such a high rank. In honor of this achievement, the people of Sen village allocated a plot of land, approximately 2,500 m2, from their ancestral land to build a garden. They purchased a five-room wooden house with a thatched roof and erected it there, inviting the Phó Bảng family to live there. During this time, Mr. Nguyễn Sinh Thuyết (Mr. Sắc's older brother, sharing the same father but different mother) moved the side house to serve as a kitchen for his younger brother. |

| From 1901 to 1906, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac and his three children (Nguyen Thi Thanh, Nguyen Tat Dat, and Nguyen Tat Thanh - the childhood name of President Ho Chi Minh) left Hoang Tru village and lived in Sen village. It was in this house that Nguyen Tat Thanh had many encounters with patriotic scholars and Confucianists such as Phan Boi Chau, Dang Thai Than, Dang Nguyen Can, and Vuong Thuc Quy... and his patriotic and compassionate thoughts were formed early on. |

In 1956, the house was recovered and rebuilt on its original site as a memorial. The simple, unpretentious artifacts here hold many profound memories from President Ho Chi Minh's five years of childhood. |
