The series of activities is a practical event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's tradition, attracting tourists to the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism . This is also an activity to introduce and widely spread to tourists the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary struggle of the ethnic community; the stature and significance of the August Revolution, the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); expressing deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed their blood for the independence, freedom and unification of the country.
The activities involved more than 125 people of 16 ethnic groups, with the coordination of 11 localities (Thai Nguyen, Hanoi , Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Son La, Hue, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Can Tho).

Visitors to the Village on this occasion will be able to immerse themselves in traditional cultural experiences, thereby understanding more about the unique cultural and traditional features of the ethnic groups, joining hands to preserve, promote and advertise the traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese ethnic community. Notable among them is the series of programs with the theme "Going to the village is enjoyable", including many unique cultural activities such as reenacting the water trough worshiping ceremony of the Xo Dang ethnic group in Kon Tum province; the exchange program "Echo of the village" of the Xo Dang ethnic group in Quang Ngai province; folk song and dance programs "Highland dream" of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands, "Happy village in the sound of the Khen" of the ethnic groups in the North, "Vietnam in me" of the ethnic groups who are active daily in the Village.
In addition, daily and weekend activities, Homestay tourism programs, culinary experiences, folk games... all introduce the culture, customs and practices of ethnic minorities, along with many experiential activities for visitors to the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
