Thanh Hoa shortens karaoke procedures: Licensing in 10 days, adjustment in 7 days

VHO - Thanh Hoa announced 2 new administrative procedures in the cultural field, granting karaoke business licenses takes only 10 days, adjusting licenses takes 7 days, with clear and transparent fees.

Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision on announcing a list of new administrative procedures in the cultural field under the authority of the People's Committees at the commune level in the province.

According to the decision, from August 22, the People's Committees at the commune level in Thanh Hoa province will receive and handle two new administrative procedures: procedures for granting a License to meet conditions for karaoke business and procedures for granting an Adjustment License for this type.

Procedures are deployed through the Commune-level Public Administration Service Center and integrated into the National Public Service Portal, helping people and businesses submit applications online, reducing travel time and costs.

Notably, the processing time for new license applications is 10 working days, while license adjustment procedures take only 7 days.

Fees and charges are specifically regulated by area and number of karaoke rooms, ensuring publicity and transparency, avoiding the occurrence of additional costs outside of regulations.

The issuance of these new administrative procedures is based on legal documents of the Government, the Ministry of Finance and decentralization decisions of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the same time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa was also assigned the task of developing internal procedures and transferring them to the Provincial Public Administration Service Center to establish electronic procedures before August 24.

The move is expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness of state management in the cultural field, while encouraging organizations and individuals participating in karaoke business to comply with legal regulations.
