The key 3.5 km long dike in Thanh Hong is currently undergoing renovation.

In 2024, Thanh Hong commune implemented a series of large-scale investment projects in infrastructure. One of the key projects was the renovation of the 3.5 km long Thai Binh River dike, with the dike surface reinforced with concrete, 5 m wide and 20 cm thick. Upon completion, this project will not only enhance disaster prevention capabilities but also facilitate transportation and agricultural production.

Infrastructure projects such as Bau Market, district roads, and rural roads have also been upgraded with a total budget of over 2 billion VND. Many other important projects, including the commune police station office and a two-story, four-classroom building at the kindergarten, are currently underway.

Thanh Hong's economy has made remarkable progress over the past year. Agriculture continues to be the economic mainstay, with over 445 hectares of fruit trees cultivated according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. Key products such as lychees and pomelos are not only consumed domestically but also exported to international markets, contributing to increased income for farmers.

Many major projects in Thanh Hong will be implemented in 2024.

In addition, the handicraft and service sectors also recorded significant growth, at 23.4% and 17.8% respectively. With an average per capita income of 72.36 million VND/year, Thanh Hong is becoming a shining example of the quality of life for its residents in Thanh Ha district.

Thanh Hong's success is inseparable from the dynamic and dedicated leadership of the commune's leaders and officials. Mr. Le Quy Su, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, stated that to successfully implement tasks and make Thanh Hong a shining example in the district in all aspects, the commune actively reformed administrative procedures. Commune leaders regularly listened to and resolved the difficulties of the people. Resources were mobilized to improve infrastructure... All efforts were directed towards improving the people's lives and promoting sustainable development.

Entering 2025, Thanh Hong aims to become a commune meeting the standards of advanced new rural development, continuing to build on sustainable development criteria.
