Nguyen Van Chat High School is located in Tho Tang town, Vinh Tuong district. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Director of the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to implement the establishment of the school according to the decision.

Vinh Phuc Province Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School was established on the basis of reorganizing Tam Dao Ethnic Boarding Secondary School. The school is located in Nuc Ha village, Ho Son commune, Tam Dao district. The school is a public general education institution in the general education system, has legal status, its own seal and account.

The People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province assigned the Department of Education and Training to implement the establishment of the school, organize the reception of the Tam Dao Ethnic Boarding Secondary School in its original state from the People's Committee of Tam Dao district and carry out management according to regulations.
