Establishment of the Central Region Military Cadet School

TPO - On March 11th, a delegation from the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, led by Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, inspected the planning for the establishment of a Military Cadet School in the Central region at Quang Phu ward (Da Nang city).

The establishment of the Central Region Cadet School is a major initiative with strategic significance in the education, training, and long-term development of cadres for the Army. The school will fulfill the function of nurturing, educating, and training young people to meet the required standards in political qualities, ethics, health, and qualifications, thereby creating a source of high-quality cadres for the task of building and defending the Fatherland.

In addition to organizing the teaching of the junior and senior high school cultural curriculum according to the program of the Ministry of Education and Training , the school will closely integrate cultural education with political education, military training, physical training, and building the demeanor and discipline of a soldier.

The primary target group for training includes children from ethnic minority communities, children from families receiving preferential treatment, families with meritorious contributions to the revolution, and students from disadvantaged backgrounds across the country.

After hearing the report and directly inspecting the planning area, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive approach of Military Region 5 and related agencies and units in the process of implementing the preparatory steps.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff requested that units continue to review and refine the overall planning; ensuring the uniformity of infrastructure, barracks systems, learning areas, living quarters, and training facilities, meeting long-term training requirements.

General Pham Truong Son emphasized: The establishment of the Central Region Cadet School not only contributes to discovering and nurturing young human resources for the Army but also has important significance in creating learning and training opportunities for children of people in remote areas and ethnic minority communities.

This contributes to building a contingent of military officers with strong political resolve and comprehensive skills, meeting the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnam People's Army in the new era.
