On the morning of May 19th, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to commend and reward collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh in 2026.

This is a meaningful and practical activity of Ho Chi Minh City to commemorate the 136th anniversary of the birth of the great President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026); the 115th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's departure to seek a path to national salvation (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2026); and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city of Saigon - Gia Dinh officially being honored with the name of President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026).

Attending the awards ceremony were Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang; Central Committee member and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Le Quoc Phong; Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Vo Van Minh; Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong; and Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Van Thi Bach Tuyet.

Every field has its exemplary models of learning from President Ho Chi Minh.

Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Vice Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Van Thi Bach Tuyet affirmed that the thoughts, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh are the ideological foundation and guiding principles for the actions of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, and are an invaluable spiritual asset of the entire Party, army, and people.

Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, delivered a speech at the commendation ceremony.

Over the past period, the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style have been a focus of leadership and guidance by the city's Party committees, government, and mass organizations, with many new, creative, and effective solutions and approaches being proposed.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee believes that the 358 outstanding collectives and individuals who have been honored will continuously learn from and follow President Ho Chi Minh's example, continuing to spread goodness, kindness, civility, and compassion; creating a beautiful image of citizens of the city named after President Ho Chi Minh.

Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet stated that today, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee especially recognizes, commends, and honors 181 outstanding collectives and 177 outstanding individuals in studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh in 2026.

"These are the people who directly practice, deeply integrating the study and emulation of Uncle Ho into every 'breath' of life through specific, simple, and effective actions, making the emulation of Uncle Ho vibrant, rich, and meaningful, contributing significantly to the development of the locality and unit where they study, live, and work, and contributing to the development of the city," the Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee emphasized.

Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang and Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Duong Anh Duc commended and congratulated the collectives with outstanding achievements in learning from President Ho Chi Minh.

Each field has exemplary collectives and individuals. For example, the staff and civil servants of the Public Administrative Service Center of Binh Quoi Ward, Binh Chanh Commune, have learned from President Ho Chi Minh's spirit of dedication in serving the people, effectively implementing models that help shorten processing times and minimize travel for citizens.

To ensure that "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh" continues to be a central and continuous task in the work of Party building and rectification, and in participating in socio-economic development, the Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested that Party Committees directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and Party committees and organizations at all levels, continue to implement the directives of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee in the new period.

Ho Chi Minh City has 5,800 Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces throughout the country.

From July 1st, 2025, after nearly a year of implementing the new organizational structure model, the campaign to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in Ho Chi Minh City has been widely and vigorously implemented with many positive results. Many good practices and creative models in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in each region have been replicated and promoted.

In particular, the Ho Chi Minh cultural space has been expanded throughout the city, with more than 5,800 Ho Chi Minh cultural spaces located in cultural and educational institutions, religious establishments, businesses, and public spaces. These spaces have disseminated valuable materials about the life, revolutionary career, thoughts, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh, spreading them widely in the spiritual life of the people.
