On the morning of August 28, comrade Duong Van An, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation received and worked with Mr. Yap Kwong Weng, General Director of T&Y SuperPort Vinh Phuc Joint Stock Company and the company's partners on removing difficulties to continue implementing the Logistics ICD project in Binh Xuyen district.
Also attending were comrade Vu Viet Van, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and Binh Xuyen district.

At the meeting, General Director of T&Y SuperPort Vinh Phuc Joint Stock Company Yap Kwong Weng said that the Logistics ICD project in Binh Xuyen district has completed the construction of a 10,000 m2 bonded warehouse on an area of 2.3 hectares and is preparing to build 3 warehouses and 1 dry port on an area of 13 hectares.
The company has been licensed by the General Department of Customs, the Civil Aviation Authority and an international certificate on ensuring customs clearance of goods and continues to take steps to implement the project with the goal of becoming a smart multimodal logistics center applying advanced technologies, using clean energy, renewable energy, contributing to promoting logistics activities in the Northern region of Vietnam, while expanding services to many other areas in Vietnam.
However, during the implementation process, the company is facing some difficulties and problems and hopes to receive support from the province to resolve them regarding the policy of bringing goods directly to the airport runway to reduce costs, time, and increase business efficiency; determining land prices to pay land rent for the entire project; compensation and site clearance to implement the next items of the project in Binh Xuyen district.

Emphasizing the role and importance of the ICD Logistics Dry Port for a locality that is dynamic in economic development but does not have a large-scale seaport or river port like Vinh Phuc, Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An affirmed that the implementation of the ICD Logistics Dry Port project is consistent with the province's investment attraction orientation in attracting high value-added projects, aiming at export to bring economic efficiency to the province; at the same time, helping businesses investing in the province to facilitate import and export activities of goods.
Sharing the difficulties and obstacles of the company when implementing the project in Vinh Phuc, Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An said that the province will always accompany to remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses, including the company's Logistics ICD dry port project.
Logistics is a new field, therefore, determining land prices for projects needs to be researched to ensure compliance with legal regulations, especially the recently passed revised Land Law.
The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to hire a consulting unit and the land valuation council to research and soon issue land prices for enterprises.
Binh Xuyen District People's Committee coordinated with relevant units and the company in site clearance and land handover to enterprises to implement the project.

Supporting the policy of digital transformation, green transformation, and circular economy in the development strategy of enterprises, Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An suggested that the company should pay attention to ensuring the security and safety of goods during transportation to ensure aviation security, mobilize resources to complete items, and soon put the project into operation.
Regarding the business's recommendations related to import and export of goods at the airport, the province will report to the Government to direct competent agencies to resolve them according to their authority.
