The pension payment schedule for May 2025 will be changed to pay as early as the end of April.

The Prime Minister has just issued a directive requesting the payment of pensions for May 2025 between April 25th and April 28th.

Paying pensions to beneficiaries.

The Prime Minister's directive states: In order to create favorable conditions for the people and workers to happily celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the reunification of the country, while simultaneously implementing social security policies and stimulating consumer demand, the Prime Minister requests the Ministry of Finance to direct the Vietnam Social Insurance (BHXH) to:

Effectively handle the settlement and payment of social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits, ensuring that they are provided fully, promptly, and in accordance with regulations to eligible beneficiaries;

Urgently organize the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025 between April 25, 2025 and April 28, 2025.

Previously, some local social insurance agencies announced changes to the pension payment schedule for May 2025 due to the April 30th - May 1st holiday. Accordingly, the money is expected to be transferred to beneficiaries' accounts starting May 5th. For cash payments, disbursements will be made from May 7th to 10th at all payment points; and from May 11th to May 25th at post offices of central/district post offices.

However, with the Prime Minister 's directive, the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits will be implemented immediately at the end of April, from April 25-28.
