| Pay pension to beneficiaries |
The Prime Minister's dispatch clearly stated: In order to create conditions for people and workers to happily celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), reunify the country, and at the same time implement social security policies and stimulate consumption, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to direct the Vietnam Social Security (VSS):
Implement well the work of resolving and paying social insurance and unemployment insurance (SI) regimes to ensure full, timely and correct payment to beneficiaries;
Urgently organize the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025 from April 25, 2025 to April 28, 2025.
Previously, some local social insurance agencies announced changes to the pension payment schedule for May 2025 due to the April 30-May 1 holiday. Accordingly, it is expected that money will be transferred to the beneficiary's account from May 5. For cash payments, payments will be made from May 7 to May 10 at all payment points; from May 11 to May 25 at post offices of central/district post offices .
However, with the Prime Minister 's telegram, the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits will be implemented at the end of April from April 25-28.
