According to Forbes ' 40th annual list of the world's billionaires, released in March, there are 3,428 billionaires worldwide, an increase of 400 compared to last year's record number. Among them, billionaire Elon Musk is holding the number one position more firmly than ever with nearly $800 billion. Notably, at several points, Elon Musk's assets have exceeded $800 billion, bringing him closer to becoming the world's first trillionaire.
According to Forbes ' estimates, Elon Musk's net worth has increased by approximately $497 billion since 2025. This growth nearly doubled Elon Musk's wealth in just 12 months.
