Despite the absence of some key members, with a strong squad of athletes in excellent form, the Vietnamese team still boldly accepted the target of 3 gold medals, meaning successfully defending the titles won at the 2022 tournament in the Maldives. This target was quickly completed on the first day of competition on September 4 in Nepal, despite the fact that the participating teams were all very strong.
