Specifically, the corn growing area is more than 5,800 hectares, of which 5,160 hectares have been harvested; the potato growing area is more than 3,925 hectares, of which 2,898 hectares have been harvested; various beans are more than 2,626 hectares, of which 2,090 hectares have been harvested; various vegetables are more than 54,450 hectares, of which 46,399 hectares have been harvested; 7,214 hectares of purple onions have been planted in the 2024-2025 crop, and have been completely harvested; 14,742 hectares of sugarcane, of which 7,280 hectares of sugarcane in the 2024-2025 crop have been planted and 6,809 hectares have been harvested, and 7,462 hectares of sugarcane in the 2025-2026 crop have been planted.

According to the Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection under the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Can Tho City, in 2025, the city's Department of Agriculture and Environment has proposed a plan to plant vegetables, colors, beans of all kinds and short-term industrial crops with an area of ​​92,195 hectares, with a total expected output of more than 1.552 million tons.
