Journey to awaken memories of the land of "spiritual land and talented people"

The event is not just a simple tourist activity, but suggests a new approach in bringing heritage into life: heritage is experienced, felt, and creatively participated in, instead of standing silently behind introductory boards.

Amidst the ever-changing urban life, Phu Thuong still quietly preserves its old traditions - the traditions of a land along the Red River, where the Thang Long cultural sediments are crystallized in every communal house, pagoda roof and in the fragrant aroma of hot sticky rice batches.

Phu Thuong has long been known as a memory of Thang Long - Hanoi , where a rich system of historical relics, unique cultural sediments and a unique intangible heritage treasure of riverside residents converge.

The formation of the tour "One day with Phu Thuong heritage" is considered a meaningful step, opening up a new approach for tourists to delve deeper into the local cultural life.

The journey is designed as living history pages: Each stop is a layer of story, each house is an awakened memory.

This experience tour will contribute to promoting the traditional craft brand of Phu Thuong Sticky Rice.

From Phu Thuong sticky rice village, where the traditional sticky rice making craft has been preserved for many generations, to Phu Gia communal house, Ba Gia pagoda and other sacred relics, visitors can step into a world where time seems to slow down so that ancient values can speak.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Vice President of Phu Thuong Traditional Sticky Rice Village Association shared: "In recent times, we have always made efforts to preserve and promote the traditional sticky rice making profession to develop the economy, improve the quality of life of craft village members and people of Phu Thuong ward".

For the local people, this experience tour will contribute to promoting the traditional craft brand and showing the pride of the whole community in preserving the cultural features that make up the soul of the land.

When heritage becomes a driving force for sustainable development

In the context of Hanoi promoting the development of cultural industry in the spirit of Resolution 09 of the City Party Committee, the tour "One day with Phu Thuong heritage" provides important suggestions on how to turn cultural assets into development resources.

Mr. Bui The Cuong, Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee, emphasized: "The launch of the one-day tour with Phu Thuong heritage is an important development step, marking the locality's efforts in spreading the value of heritage to domestic and foreign tourists."

What is precious about Phu Thuong is the way the people and the government work together. The heritage is not confined in a glass cabinet, but is alive with the breath of the community, the hands of those who preserve the craft, and the smiles of those who guide visitors through each cultural layer.

During the launching ceremony, 13 groups and 16 individuals were honored. These are the people who quietly stand behind Phu Thuong’s preservation journey. They are the “string” connecting the past with the present, the people who have devoted their youth and their entire lives to preserving the spirit of the craft village, relics and local customs.

Such honor not only recognizes the silent contributions, but also shows how a community proactively nurtures its identity to pass on to the next generation.
