(CPV) - In the first phase of 2024, the OCOP product evaluation and classification council of Muong Te and Tam Duong districts ( Lai Chau ) evaluated 11 OCOP products that met 3-star standards.

In Muong Te district, the District People's Committee organized the assessment and classification of OCOP products for 6 products including: Pa U honey of Vang Van Thien business household (Ward 1, Muong Te town); Truong Tuyen Ka Lang honey of Tran Van Tuyen business household (Me Giong village, Ka Lang commune); Hai Hoan Vang San honey of Cao Ngoc Hoan business household (Ward 12, Muong Te town); Ha Nhi costumes of Chu Nhu Pu business household (Me Giong village, Ka Lang commune); Q CLEAN mouthwash, Q CLEAN antibacterial spray of Phu Thanh Cooperative (Ward 12, Muong Te town). Based on the assessment results, the Council assessed 6 products as meeting 3-star OCOP standards.
Participating in the OCOP product classification program in the first phase of 2024, Tam Duong district has 06 products of 6 entities registered and submitted product profiles for classification evaluation, including 05 products for the first time evaluation; 01 product was re-evaluated. The products eligible for evaluation belong to 3 groups, including 2 products in the tourism group: Si Thau Chai village community tourism (Ho Thau) and Lao Chai 1 village community tourism (Khun Ha); 02 products in the processing group including Binh Lu vermicelli and Seng Cu Then Sin rice; 01 product in the fresh food group is Le Giang Ma. At the same time, Binh Lu vermicelli product is eligible to be submitted to the Provincial OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council for certification of meeting 4-star OCOP standards.

Thus, up to now, Lai Chau has 215 products meeting 3-star and 4-star OCOP standards. Most of these are local specialties, typical and traditional products, ensuring quality and food safety, with traceability, packaging and labels according to consumer market trends and regulations. The products have initially aroused the potential and strengths of raw material areas and the use of local labor. In particular, the products are regional specialties, the product prices are associated with the traditional culture and natural conditions of the locality...
