Adding rural bridges in Phong Hiep commune.

The Kinh 1,000 bridge, connecting hamlets 2A and 2B in Phong Hiep commune, has just been started construction thanks to funding from social mobilization efforts.

• Construction begins on 3 rural bridges in Ho Thi Ky Commune.

On April 24th, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Phong Hiep commune, in coordination with the sponsor, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the bridge.

Local leaders and benefactors performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Kinh 1,000 Bridge.

The bridge was designed with a length of 33 meters, a width of 3.2 meters, and a load capacity of 3 tons. The total construction cost was 320 million VND, funded by donations from business associations in Ho Chi Minh City, mobilized by the Phong Hiep Commune Party Committee.

When completed, the bridge will serve the transportation needs of approximately 1,200 households and more than 500 students in the area.

Precast concrete pillars were assembled for the construction unit to proceed with the construction of the bridge foundation after the groundbreaking ceremony.

Ms. Vu Thi Hue, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Phong Hiep commune, shared that from the beginning of 2026 until now, the locality has mobilized philanthropists, businesses, and benefactors to support the construction of 4 rural traffic bridges, contributing to promoting socio -economic development and improving the lives of people in the area.
