Route 769E will connect directly to Long Thanh Airport.

This road starts at the border with Long Thanh Airport and ends at the intersection with Provincial Road 770B. According to the investment plan, the completed Provincial Road 769E will have a total length of over 8km, divided into two investment sections.

Specifically, section 1, from the Long Thanh airport boundary to the Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway depot, has a cross-sectional width of 115m.

Section 2, from the Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway depot to Provincial Road 770B, has a cross-sectional width of 95m.

According to the investment plan, phase 1 of the project will involve the construction of two parallel roads on either side, each 15m wide.

Four reinforced concrete bridges will be constructed along the route, including Suoi Duc Bridge, Military Hospital Bridges 1 and 2, and Suoi Sau Bridge.

The total investment for phase 1 of the project is over 1,400 billion VND, of which the land clearance cost is nearly 600 billion VND.

Route 769, along with Route 769E, helps alleviate congestion on many existing routes.

The project will be implemented in the period from 2024 to 2029.

The investment in Provincial Road 769E aims to gradually complete the transportation infrastructure system according to the plan in the province. This will facilitate traffic flow between the Southern key economic region and the northern provinces and the Central Highlands provinces.

This route, along with routes T1 and T2, will directly connect to the area north of Long Thanh Airport, meeting transportation needs. It will share traffic flow, preventing vehicles from concentrating in the area south of Long Thanh Airport. It will also reduce congestion on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, and National Highway 51.

Thus, Dong Nai will have many connecting routes to Long Thanh Airport, including three expressways: Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh, Ben Luc - Long Thanh, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, Ring Road 3, and provincial roads 763, 769, 25B, etc.

Long Thanh Airport project is progressing well.

Phase 1 of the Long Thanh Airport project is divided into four sub-projects. In sub-project 3, contractors are currently constructing the passenger terminal, runway, taxiway, apron, and connecting transportation systems between Terminals T1 and T2.

Specifically, for package 5.10 of the passenger terminal, the consortium of contractors has completed all the reinforced concrete columns, beams, and floor slabs for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. Currently, they are fabricating and erecting the steel structure for the roof.

The entire construction is expected to be completed before December 2025, with the facade erection completed before March 2026, simultaneously with finishing work, equipment installation, and trial operation (testing) starting in early 2026, aiming for completion before August 31, 2026.

Package 4.6, including runways, taxiways, and aprons, has reached nearly 30% completion.

The runway has completed its base and foundation layers, and the M150/25 cement concrete layer is essentially finished. Currently, the M350/45 cement concrete surface layer is under construction. It is expected to be completed and open for technical operation before April 30, 2025, three months ahead of the contract schedule.

Package 6.12, connecting roads T1 and T2, is currently undergoing earthworks, bored piles, crushed stone base, bridge pier foundations, and Super T girder production... Production has reached over 55%.

Component project 2, air traffic control facilities, is progressing according to schedule. Specifically, the critical path air traffic control tower has completed its structural work, with the roof completed at the end of September, and the remaining components are currently being erected.

As for component project 1 - Headquarters of state management agencies, the construction progress is ensured to be synchronized with component project 3.

Component project 4 is also currently in the bidding process for priority works. For the remaining works, the Ministry of Transport has reported to the Government on their urgency and investment priorities. Simultaneously, a list of works to be implemented by ACV has been agreed upon to ensure the synchronized operation of the port.
