During the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, there were many exciting activities and entertainment events organized to meet the entertainment needs of tourists coming to Binh Thuan. In order to serve tourists who come to visit and relax on the occasion of September 2 this year in a thoughtful, safe, joyful, comfortable and have a good impression of the tourist destination, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has previously requested the Department of Culture and Information of districts, towns, cities, management boards of tourist areas, tourist attractions, and tourism businesses in the province to strengthen the management of tourism services in the locality. Especially during this holiday, there have been many new products, services, and tourism products to serve tourists. What impressed tourists the most was that NovaWorld Phan Thiet organized an artistic fireworks display on the evening of September 2, creating an attractive highlight to attract tourists. Before the September 2 holiday, travel companies had many incentives for tourists when traveling to Binh Thuan and many tourists chose Binh Thuan as a destination during this holiday. During the 3 peak days (from August 31 to September 2), the room occupancy rate of 3-4 star hotels and resorts in the central areas of Phan Thiet City, Ham Tien, Mui Ne, Tien Thanh, Ham Thuan Nam, and La Gi reached over 90%, while the average room occupancy rate was from 70 - 80%. It is estimated that during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, the number of tourists visiting and staying in the province will reach about 385,000, 3.3 times higher than in 2023, of which international visitors will be about 9,700, with revenue of about 510 billion VND.
In particular, the provincial authorities have deployed the work of ensuring security, order and traffic safety, and at the same time coordinated with key tourist localities to regularly inspect and remind tourist areas, destinations and tourism businesses to ensure the environment, prices and service quality, and civilized behavior in tourism activities... To ensure the security and order situation on the occasion of the National Day on September 2 this year, the provincial police have proactively and synchronously deployed professional measures, ensuring absolute safety for cultural and political events as well as entertainment activities, creating conditions for people to have a joyful and safe holiday.
