Accordingly, Phuong Mai Transaction Office of SCB Hai Ba Trung Branch (1st, 2nd, 3rd floors, 75 Phuong Mai, Phuong Mai Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi ); Hang Ga Transaction Office of SCB Thang Long Branch (53 Hang Ga, Hang Bo Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi ) will cease operations. Within 45 days from the date of signing this approval document, SCB must carry out legal procedures in accordance with the provisions of law to terminate the operations of the above transaction office; and report in writing to the State Bank of Vietnam, Hanoi Branch, on the date of termination of the transaction office.
SCB continues to suspend operations of some transaction offices
Previously, SCB had terminated some transaction offices in provinces and cities. For example, Ngo May Transaction Office, Binh Dinh Branch (49 Ngo May, Nguyen Van Cu Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh) ceased operations from October 27. Ly Nam De Transaction Office, Thang Long Branch (1st, 2nd, 3rd floors, building No. 36B/1 Ly Nam De Street, Cua Dong Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) ceased operations on October 31. Bach Dang Transaction Office, Thang Long Branch (1st, 2nd, 3rd floors, building No. 7 Tran Khanh Du, Bach Dang Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi) ceased operations on October 31. Lang Ha Transaction Office, Hanoi Branch (35-37 Huynh Thuc Khang, Lang Ha Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi) ceased operations on November 1. Customer rights at these transaction points are fully guaranteed at SCB transaction points.
After more than a year of being placed under special control, SCB has also actively coordinated with relevant authorities to implement solutions in accordance with legal regulations to ensure the safety of the banking system and protect the rights and interests of depositors.
Up to now, SCB has continuously received timely and close support and direction from the State Bank and relevant agencies to gradually stabilize and handle difficulties and obstacles, and focus on building a Bank Restructuring Project, aiming to stabilize banking operations and develop SCB in a new period.
