Today (July 22), Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture announced the minimum quality assurance threshold for admission to its regular undergraduate programs in 2025. Accordingly, the minimum admission score for all majors at the university is 15.

The specific minimum admission scores for each method are shown in the following table:

Accordingly, the minimum admission score for the 2025 high school graduation exam-based admission method will be calculated based on the chosen subject combination, priority points for eligible candidates and regions in the admission process.

The minimum score for the high school academic performance-based admission method is the score from 6 semesters of high school according to the chosen subject combination, plus priority points for eligible candidates and regions in the admission process.

The admission method combines the results of the high school graduation exam with the aptitude test scores for candidates applying to the cultural management major, specializing in organizing and staging cultural and artistic programs. The 2025 high school graduation exam scores are calculated based on the chosen subject combination, priority points for eligible candidates and regions; candidates must achieve a score of 5.0 or higher in each subject of the artistic aptitude test.

The admission method combines high school academic results with aptitude test scores for candidates applying to the Cultural Management major, specializing in organizing and staging cultural and artistic programs. The admission criteria include academic scores from 6 semesters of high school according to the chosen subject combination, priority points for eligible candidates and regions; and a minimum score of 5.0 in each subject of the artistic aptitude test.

The school also has its own regulations for candidates in case of a tie in scores. The minimum quality assurance threshold for supplementary admission rounds (if any) will be equal to or higher than that of the first round.

In 2024, the cutoff score for admission to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture based on high school graduation exam results was 27.85 points for some majors. The major with the lowest cutoff score using this method was still 22 points.
