Earlier, in the early morning of June 11, a group of people attacked the headquarters of two communes, Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur, Cu Kuin district, killing and injuring a number of commune police officers, commune officials and residents. To date, Krong Buk district police have received 8 surrendered subjects.
Currently, Krong Buk District Police continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to continue to arrest related subjects to handle according to the provisions of the law; at the same time, step up propaganda and mobilize related subjects to surrender to enjoy leniency of the law.
Immediately after the attack, Krong Buk District Police issued a letter calling on those who participated in, causing particularly serious violations of the law, to come forward and surrender. Families with children, siblings, and relatives who violated the law actively encouraged them to come forward and honestly declare to enjoy the lenient policies of the Party and the State. At the same time, Krong Buk District Police called on local people to actively participate in denouncing criminals, providing accurate information to help the authorities investigate, clarify, and strictly handle the case. Cases that continue to hide and commit crimes, when caught, will be strictly handled before the law.
Regarding the incident, by June 16, the police force had arrested and prosecuted more than 50 people directly involved in the incident, in particular all the ringleaders were arrested; many weapons including military weapons, homemade weapons and sports weapons, knives, grenades and some bullets were confiscated.
