Temporarily detaining 74 subjects, stabilizing security and order in the area

According to Dak Lak Provincial Police, immediately after the incident, under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security , the Provincial Police urgently and synchronously deployed drastic measures to arrest the subjects who caused the incident in Cu Kuin district to strictly handle them according to the provisions of law. Up to now, the unit has safely rescued 3 hostages; invited 109 related subjects to work (of which 74 subjects were temporarily detained to serve the investigation); and seized many weapons, vehicles, and evidence.

Major General Le Vinh Quy added that immediately after the incident, the police force promptly implemented policies and organized visits, condolences, and encouragement to the relatives of the commune officials and commune police who sacrificed their lives and the people who died. The two police officers who were seriously injured in the attack were treated and their health gradually stabilized. People's lives returned to normal, and people felt secure in doing business and production.

Major General Le Vinh Quy thanked the people for their wholehearted support in the investigation and arrest of the subjects involved in the incident. This affirms the ardent patriotism and solidarity of the people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province; clearly demonstrates the trust and affection of the people for the police force; affirms the solid fortress of the people's hearts in the uncompromising struggle against hostile, reactionary forces and all types of criminals.

The Provincial Police Director said that in the coming time, in addition to the very basic opportunities and advantages, the work of ensuring security and order in the area will also face great difficulties and challenges. The Provincial Police force always strives to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the people, worthy of the affection and trust of the people for the force; no matter how difficult the circumstances, it is always determined to maintain political stability, ensure social order and safety, worthy of being the key armed force in protecting the Party, the State, the peace and happiness of the people.
